Sandy and Selena were in a very serious motorvehicle accident Friday afternoon in southwestern Kentucky. Both were flown via MedFlight to Huntington, West Virginia. They were going through an intersection when they were hit by a pick up truck in the passenger side of the vehicle. Selena has 2 broken ankles, 2 broken feet, a fractured sternum, a fractured pelvis in 3 places, a fractured Lumbar 4, and is severely beat up but is slowly starting her recovery after several surgeries to repair her injuries. It is with great sadness that I report that Selena suffered a miscarriage of their son, Colsen James Cummins on August 26,2025. It absolutely pains me to inform everyone on Thursday August 28th,2025 at 1:51 am Sandy Nordmeyer Cummins passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. The Cummins family cannot thank everyone enough for your prayers through this absolutely devastating, life changing events. Our families express our greatest gratitude for everyone showing our families support when we all needed it most. We still continue to ask for prayers as Selena continues her journey on the long road to recovery. This donation platform has been created by close friends to help raise money for the Cummins family to help cover expenses and arrangements of not one, but two family members.
